About YTI

Youth Tutor Initiative is a nonprofit organization started by TaKaya McFarland and Ashley Brown. We are proudly sponsored by The Word of God Christian Ministries. Our program's goal is to help and motivate young minds to be the best they can be academically.

We are a group of high school students. All of us take pride in our motivation to do better not only for ourselves, but our community. Our tutors are honor roll students and have a wide variety of interests. We are a very gifted and intelligent group of students eager to spread our knowledge. Our tutoring services are completely non-profit.

During this time of uncertainty, not everyone can get the help that they deserve and we simply wish to do whatever we can to help. Our services are open to all elementary and middle school scholars; and our subjects include math, reading, science and history. We hope we can reach and motivate as many students as possible through this Initiative and we couldn’t be more excited to do so!
